Grilled Sirloin Salad With Balsamic Vinaigrette

There ain’t no salad like a sirloin salad!

Ingredients You'll Need

  • 2 Free Range Top Sirloin Steaks
  • 1 Head Romaine, Chopped
  • 4 Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 1 Cup Fresh Green Beans, cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 Pint Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 Cup Raw Walnuts or Pecans
  • 1/2 Cup Goat Cheese, crumbled
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste


  1. Heat grill to medium high heat
  2. Season sirloin with salt and pepper on both sides
  3. Place sirloin on the grill and cook each side for 5-6 minutes
  4. Remove from grill and let sit. Do not cut until you are ready to assemble salad
  5. To make the balsamic vinaigrette, add Dijon mustard, garlic, basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper to a bowl and mix until combined
  6. Bring a small pot of water to a boil
  7. Add green beans to pot
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes and immediately throw in an ice bath to shock them and stop the cooking process
  9. To assemble salad, evenly distribute chopped romaine, hard boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, fresh green beans, walnuts or pecans, crumbled goat cheese and chopped sirloin
  10. Serve with balsamic vinaigrette
