Trudy Sapach says:

In the ingredients it says 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese , divided, However; in the directions it says whisk in 1 cup of cheese. How much cheddar cheese is there for the total recipe.

Meridian Meats says:

Thank you for noticing our mistake Trudy! There should be 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. You will whisk in the one cup of cheddar and then top with the remaining cheddar at the end.
