Assistant Meat Department Manager – North Van
We are seeking a full time assistant meat department manager for our North Van store. This position is suitable for meat cutters and people with kitchen management experience.
What you’ll be doing:
As assistant meat department manager, you’ll keep our displays filled with an abundant, high quality selection of meats and seafood that oozes with ‘WOW’ factor. Working closely with the dept manager, you’ll be responsible for training & coaching, purchasing, planning & organizing in-store promotions and changing displays, receiving, warehousing, merchandizing and managing your team of staff that assist our customers’ every need.
Grade ‘A’ Requirements:
- Meat cutting/kitchen experience.
- You’re good with people, and know how to lead and inspire them to be their best selves at work.
- You’re efficient, organized, and you like to GSD (Get Stuff Done).
- You’re self-motivated and welcome new stretching challenges and opportunities.
‘AAA’ Bonus points for:
- Meat Cutting Journeyman Ticket.
- Management experience.
- Food Safe Certification.
