Philly Pulled Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients You'll Need

  • 4 lbs. Beef Chuck Roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 large bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 8 long sandwich rolls
  • 16 slices Provolone cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Rub beef with salt and pepper
  2. Add seasoned beef and beef broth to slow cooker
  3. Add peppers and onions on top of beef
  4. Replace lid and cook on low for 8 hours
  5. When ready to serve, place oven rack 5 inches from broiler and preheat broiler to high
  6. Transfer beef to a large cutting board and shred, discarding any fat
  7. Strain vegetables from cooking liquid
  8. Divide meat and vegetables among the sandwich rolls
  9. Top with cheese and place sandwiches on a foil lined baking sheet
  10. Broil for 2-3 minutes or until cheese melts
