Also great on pancakes, french toast & crepes!
In a saucepan, mix together the flour and sugar.
Once flour and sugar are well mixed, add the milk - whisking well - and place on stove on medium heat.
Stir sauce consistently as it cooks.
Cook sauce until it begins to boil and has thickened.
Once sauce has thickened, remove from heat and add the butter and vanilla, mixing well.
Season with a dash of nutmeg on top.
