The Bomb Grilled Broccoli

Broccoli on the grill? Yep - it’s even better than roasted. Glazed in sweet and spicy sauce, it makes the perfect side for every BBQ dinner!


 Serves 6

 Prep time 10 min.

 Marinade time 15 min.

 Cook time 10 min.


  • 2 Small or 1 Large Head of Broccoli, Bottom of Stems Trimmed
  • 1/3 cup Meridian Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 4 Tbsp Ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp Honey
  • 2 Tbsp Chili Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (Optional but Adds a Great Kick!)
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper & Salt to Taste

  1. Heat grill to medium. In a large bowl, whisk oil, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic chili paste and red pepper flakes.
  2. Cut broccoli head into large pieces so they don’t fall through the grates of your grill!
  3. Add broccoli and toss to coat. Let it sit in the sauce for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Place broccoli on grill and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill until tender but slightly charred, be sure to turn your broccoli every couple of minutes and brush with any remaining sauce while on the bbq. Usually takes approx 8 to 10 minutes.
