Cooked in the oven at high temperature for 22 minutes and then turn off oven and leave for 2 hours. Delicious and a perfect medium rare!

Forgot to mention we smothered 5 lb. Prime rib roasts with Worcestershire and made tons of slits all over beef, and inserted slivers of fresh organic garlic 🧄😋🥰

15 family members loved the two 5lb. Prime rib roasts! (You get what you pay for) one was done med. rare and the other med. 450° for 15 mins. Then 225° for 3 to 4 hours. Start checking internal temperature at 2.5 hours. This was definitely a treat as our son was home from medical school for the first time since last February.

I didn’t know when I picked it up on the day I wanted to cook it that it was frozen.

Hi, I bought two 5-pound prime rib roasts for the holidays; one was purchased in advance, while the other was bought a bit more as a last-minute purchase. Unfortunately, while the weights of them were the same, the shape/size of them were completely different. Surprisingly, the first one, which was ordered in advance, was the very underwhelming one, long and skinny, could barely call it a rib roast, more like a loin. The second one was significantly bigger. As a first-time customer, the timing and delivery were great, not totally confident in the meat itself and the inconsistency of the size.
